3 Pointer the Final Product
POSTED BY Alan IN video production @ June 10, 2010 - 2:41 pm

Well it's been a long job but '3 Pointer' is finally finished. I don't think I've ever spent quite so much time making a 2 minute film but as you probably know by now it's the first thing I've shot using the Canon 550D. looking back on the project now I'm pretty happy with the end results sure there's always going to be things you wish you could change and the odd error that you really kick yourself for but that's life. Just now whilst uploading it I noticed something I hadn't seen before and it really pissed me off, I found myself wondering should I go back now and change it? I'm going to resist the urge for now, anyway it took me about 20 viewings to notice it so I'm sure it will be fine.

So shooting on a HDSLR how was it? To be honest I really enjoyed it I've never got shots straight out of a camera that I've been so impressed with. So yeah if you're thinking about buying one of these cameras why not go for the 550D it doesn't break the bank and as long as you're comfortable with manual focus and recording your audio separately you'll be in for a treat

Last night was a late one trying to meet todays deadline with Lee and myself spending half the night trying to finish off the audio mix then upload the video. Moan begins I wasn't at all bitter when I found out today that Virgin have added an extra day so everyone can get their entries in *reaches for a gun* I do have a slight problem with that come on guys if you're going to post a deadline then stick to it otherwise people are just going to keep pushing and pushing, hell I could of finished mine today and actually got some sleep last night. Moaning over

Anyway back to the point. I would just like to say one more huge thank you to everyone involved in the project and for all of you that are reading this blog (I'm sure some one's reading it.....probably my Mum)

so here you go '3 Pointer' I hope you enjoy
